The MIA is hosting the WA Migration Conference 2023 on Friday 23 August 2024.

Join us in Perth for a day of enriching conversations and collaborative exploration as we bring together leading stakeholders from government, industry, academia, and the migration profession to examine the evolving landscape of migration law, focusing on changes in 2024 and beyond.

Post - conference Networking:

After a day of learning and collaboration, let's continue the conversations from 5:00pm - 6:30pm in a more relaxed setting! Our post- conference networking canapés and beverages event is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow attendees, speakers, and industry experts. 

CPD Day:

There will be a 5 Point Day on Thursday 22 August: Labour Agreements and The 485 Visa. Click here to find out more.

Continuing Professional Development

Registered Migration Agents

3 CPD | Category B & 1 CPD Mandatory Ethics (Cat B) 

RMAs must attend for the full duration in order to obtain CPD points.

Legal Practitioners

6 CPD | 4.5 in Substantive Law and 1.5 in Ethics

Legal practitioners are eligible to earn points for this CPD.  The MIA is an approved QA Provider of CPD for the Legal Profession in Western Australia.


Cancellations

Full refunds will be processed if cancellation by Friday 9 August 2024. If cancelled after this date, the catering costs per head will be charged.
