Angela Chan has been involved in providing immigration advice since 1988 and has had extensive experience in various areas of immigration and has sat on numerous Federal and State government Boards.
A founding Member of the MIA (MMIA 9), and the NSW/ACT President and Board Director, she was also an inaugural member of the Migration Agents Registration Board, a past-Chairperson of the Ethnic Communities' Council of NSW, a Trustee for the NSW
Casino Community Benefit Trust and an ex-officio Member for the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (OCOG) 2000.
She was the first Australian born Chinese woman to be admitted as a Barrister and was nominated for NSW Woman Lawyer of the Year and has recently completed her appointment as Deputy Chairperson of the NSW Ministerial Advisory Committee on
Ageing.
