He presents Continuing Professional Development programs to registered migration agents in Australia and overseas, and also lectures in immigration law at the Australian National University. John also consults to other practising registered migration agents

John holds formal immigration law, managment and accounting qualifications and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management.

John is the ACT committee person on the NSW/ACT Division of the Migration Institute of Australia (MIA); Secretary of the ACT Chapter, the first such Chapter within the MIA; and represents the interests of members on DIAC's ACT Regional Office's Client Reference Group. He is also the only MIA member in Canberra awarded Associate Fellow of the MIA.

His practice covers all areas of immigration and citizenship laws.
