Ian was previously a senior officer of the Australian Government Department of Immigration and Citizenship. He completed diplomatic postings as a Senior Migration Officer in Hong Kong, India, the UK and Malaysia.
Ian lectures in migration law and practice at the Australian National University. He has also advised peak industry groups in the motor vehicle, IT and rail industries on the recruitment of skilled workers from overseas, for both temporary and permanent stay in Australia.
Ian personally completes all visa applications and submissions to the Australian Government Department of Immigration and Citizenship.
