MPE CPD Express
After resounding success in 2012, MPE is delighted to continue offering its CPD Express Course Programs in conjunction with the Migration Institute of Australia (MIA) in 2013. You can expect the same high quality CPD from Roz and Peter, supported by the highly experienced CPD administration team of Australia’s leading professional association for migration practitioners.
Earn 10 CPD Points in one day in 2013.
The MPE CPD Express Program is structured into morning (9:00 am to 12:45 pm) and afternoon (1:45 pm to 5:00 pm) sessions. Participants can earn six MARA CPD points throughout the morning session and four MARA CPD points over the afternoon session.
Practising lawyers and accountants who have been registered migration agents for at least three years, will be able to complete their annual CPD obligations by earning six MARA CPD points through the morning session.
What does this mean for you?
CPD Express is designed specifically for the serious practitioner who wants a return on their investment in CPD and to be treated as a professional and not as one of the crowd. The team at MPE and MIA recognise that RMAs are busy and that experienced agents want to tackle complex issues rather than be lectured on basic matters.
The workshops are strictly limited to 40 people and take place in a comfortable interactive learning environment that is conducive to sharing ideas and networking with other experienced professionals, and are supported by course materials designed to be used as reference materials in your professional practice.
What will the course program cover?
The MPE CPD Express program is flexible enough to cover recent and forthcoming legal and policy changes, “hot” issues affecting the migration portfolio and issues of particular interest to participants. This means the course program will always be as up to date and directly relevant to you as possible.

Testimonials:
‘The course content was broad, and from my perspective, this is one of its strengths. I strongly support CPD activities that are designed for more experienced agents, as they generally attract smaller groups and, it would appear, immigration lawyers and migration agents who are interested in the learning experience, and not just their 10 points. While there are many other more cost-effective options for CPD, the higher cost of this provider’s CPD is well and truly justified, given the amount of time, effort and thought that clearly goes into the preparation and delivery of their course.’
‘The format of the workshop compelled attendees to read and comprehend the papers, as our knowledge was tested at the end of the session, which certainly did focus my attention and learning. I learned many new things of important significance and am able to apply the knowledge I attained to some of my current matters, which provides added value. The prospective changes summarised also made me aware of forthcoming definite and potential changes to migration law.’
‘This format is the best format I have experienced and is the best way to learn and stay in touch with the endless new developments in migration law. I found the level of debate was at a higher level and more focused with ample opportunity to discuss issues.’
