UK / Europe Chapter Formation

Background

There are currently 38 MIA Registered Migration Agents who reside in the UK / Europe, with another 35 Australia-based RMAs with offices in this region.

These membership figures, along with data from a recent MIA Member survey showing greater than 35 percent of all clients arrived from the UK and Europe, highlight the need for a dedicated UK/Europe MIA Chapter.

How to be involved

Members of the Institute are invited to join Chief Executive Officer, Maurene Horder, at a Members’ meeting Tuesday 6 July from 3:30pm in Australia House’ Downer Room, Strand, London WC2B 4LA.

Items for discussion include:

• The Institute and its future direction;
• Issues affecting agents and their clients; and
• Nominations for positions on the inaugural Chapter.

Official launch

The official launch of the Chapter will take place following the Members’ meeting. From 5:30pm, all Members in the region are invited to join the celebrations, with light refreshments provided. This will offer local Members a terrific opportunity to network with colleagues, MIA sponsors and other industry stakeholders.
