MIA Skills Assessment Forums

The Institute is pleased to announce dates for the ever-popular Skills Assessment Forums are set for this October in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
Skills Assessments play a vital role within Australia’s Migration Program, and it’s important for agents to have an understanding of the processes and qualifications the key Assessing Bodies have in place to assist their clients having their skills and trades evaluated.
Agents who attend will gain knowledge of:
- recent changes to skills assessments;
- provisional skills assessment for international students currently studying in Australia;
- skills assessment process relevant to employer sponsored visas;
- implications of the new points test on the skills assessment process; and
- practical tips and guidelines when making applications.
