Call for Expressions of Interest in Graduate Diploma
24 December 2009 —
The MIA now invites universities who consider themselves suitably qualified to express interest in delivering the Graduate Diploma beginning in Semester 1, 2011. Expressions of interest will close on 5 February 2010.
The Migration Institute of Australia is committed to working for the introduction of a Graduate Diploma to replace the current Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law and Practice as the prescribed course for entry to the migration agent profession as soon as possible. We have set a target date of Semester 1, 2011 for the first intake of students.
A copy of the invitation to express interest, setting out the details that should be included in any submission and the criteria by which respondents will be assessed, can be obtained by contacting Maurene Horder, Pamela O’Neill or Kevin Lane at the MIA on 02 9249 9000 or by email (maurene.horder@mia.org.au, pamela.oneill@mia.org.au or kevin.lane@mia.org.au ).
