This seminar, co-conducted by the Immigration Advice and Rights Centre (IARC) and the MIA, will address the strategies and solutions to becoming lawful. It will look at such issues as arriving in Australia unlawfully, where a person’s visa has been cancelled, children of unlawful non-citizens, rights of unlawful non-citizens, immigration detention, removal or deportation from Australia, exclusion periods and re-entry.
