This seminar will look at General Skilled Migration options for onshore and offshore applicants. The presentation begins with an overview of the structure of GSM and its visa classes and subclasses. Discussion will focus on the time of application and time of decision criteria that apply to each visa subclass ensuring that participants come away with a solid understanding of the threshold requirements and the points test (when applicable). Emphasis will be on strategies for efficiently managing an application under GSM and highlight best practice in evidentiary requirements.

As Kevin Lane, Professional Support Manager in the MIA National Office will be in Adelaide for the GSM update seminar on Thursday 11 March 2010 at 3pm, we are taking the opportunity for him to present a CPD seminar on General Skilled Migration at 1pm on that day.

This seminar is not about the changes, but will look at the basics of General Skilled Migration by looking at legislation and policy through LEGENDcom.

This seminar was presented in Sydney recently and was acclaimed as being particularly useful for newer members, and for those who want some tips about using LEGENDcom.
